Verizon Conferencing

Frequently Asked Questions
New Invoice & Reporting Capabilities

Over the coming months, Verizon will be enhancing conferencing invoices and online reporting functionality. These changes will not impact service functionality or contract terms.

Why is my conferencing invoice changing?

Your conferencing services are moving to Verizon's newest and most robust billing solution to provide a more comprehensive paper invoice and additional online billing and reporting capabilities.

How do I take advantage of this new billing functionality?

Your paper invoices will change to the new format with no action needed on your part. To take advantage of new online interactive invoice and reporting capabilities, you must register for the Verizon Enterprise Center, which will become your one-stop portal for managing your conferencing billing and reporting. Each new invoice will include a unique PIN and instructions for self registering for the Verizon Enterprise Center.

How will I benefit from this billing change?

The most exciting enhancement will be an online, interactive invoice available through the Verizon Enterprise Center, where you can view your invoices online, download reports, and open billing inquiries. This will supplement a more streamlined paper invoice. You will also have the opportunity to take advantage of paperless billing and online payment capabilities.

Will my conferencing charges change as a result of this new invoice?

This transition does not affect your services, contracts or associated charges. The new billing solution includes software upgrades to more precisely identify call locations which may result in changes to certain taxes and surcharges that are applied to your services. Each tax and surcharge applicable to each leader's calls will be itemized in your new online invoice.

When will I receive my first invoice in the new format?

The target for this transition is mid-year 2014. You will receive a notification with final dates prior to receiving your first new invoice.

What day of the month will I receive my new invoice?

Your new billing system has two bill dates - the 1st and the 15th of the month, with invoices mailed shortly thereafter. In most cases your bill date will change to the date that is closest to your current bill date, although there may be exceptions. The date you receive your paper invoice is affected by postal delivery timelines. Typically, your bill will be available for viewing in the Verizon Enterprise Center prior to your receiving a hard copy.

Will there be any change in the way in which I make payment to Verizon?

Payments may be made through the mail, online in the Verizon Enterprise Center, or by Electronic Funds Transfer. If you pay by mail, you will have a new remittance address. Payment instructions will be included on each new invoice.

What will happen to outstanding balances associated with my account?

Any outstanding balances associated with your current account will appear on your new invoice. Upon receipt of your first enhanced invoice, all payments - whether current or past due amounts - should be made using the new remittance instructions provided on the invoice.

Will my conferencing reports change?

The same conferencing reports available today in OLIP will be available in the Verizon Enterprise Center. Although the content of the reports is not changing, you will access the reports in the Verizon Enterprise Center using a different user ID and password. In addition, you will also be able to view your Verizon Conferencing invoices online in an interactive format.

How will I gain access to the Verizon Enterprise Center so that I can view my reports?

Your new conferencing paper invoice will include instructions and a PIN that you can use to self register for Verizon Enterprise Center. The user ID and password that you create in the registration process will allow you to access the online interactive invoice, images of your paper invoice, supplementary detail files, and your conferencing reports.

Can I still view my reports using the Online Invoice Presentation (OLIP) tool?

Reporting on your new invoices will not be available in OLIP; please use the Verizon Enterprise Center. However, if you currently use OLIP, you can continue to use the system to view historical reports for invoices from your current billing system.

If you currently use OLIP, Verizon encourages you to download existing data for your records as reports beyond 1-year period will no longer be able to be retrieved. NOTE: Once this transition occurs, all new reporting details will be available through the Verizon Enterprise Center.
