Simply Click for Nearly Instant Access to Verizon Net Conferencing, Audio Streaming and Replay Events.
Coming in February 2005, Verizon Conferencing will be implementing a simple and easy-to-use process for meeting/event participants to join Net Conferences and/or Audio Streaming events through a single link via the e-Meetings website. Once a participant has elected to "Join an Event", they will be navigated to a single "common event" page where they can enter pertinent meeting/event information.
Meeting Planners will not notice a change in how they conduct their day-to-day meetings. This change will only affect how participants join Net Conferences, Audio Streaming and replay events.
How will these changes affect you?
- Changes to the e-meetings website:
- Participants will notice a single "Join an Event" option on the Home page, instead of today's options to select either a Net Conference or an Audio Streaming event.
- Conference Number and Participant information will be collected on a single page, instead of the two pages used today. Upon completion of the participant information, Net Conferencing users will be navigated to their meeting.
- Participants with a combination of Net Conference and/or Audio Streaming events or replays will be presented with an intuitive list of choices in order to select the appropriate event.
- Meeting Confirmations:
- Meeting confirmation notifications will be slightly modified to give "Participant" instructions as it relates to joining an Audio Streaming/Replay or Web RSVP access (Note: there will be no change for Net Conferencing participants).
- Meeting Invitations
- Meeting Invitations pertaining to Instant Net and Reserved Events with Web RSVP will be slightly modified as it relates to participant joining instructions.
